I launched this project on Tuesday, September 15th, 2026 at 9:45 AM CST.
I originally started this project with the full intention of using it as a burner blog for answering the Jetpack daily writing prompts. Things progressed however, and I decided to make this one of my official websites. This blog serves as a companion site to SURFMAN.co, which is home to my personal website directory called Surf Man.
CRAYY.co Blog And Domain:
CRAYY.co Blog – Very simply, this blog allows me the freedom to post a variety of content that doesn’t really fit in well with my SURFMAN.co website, especially with the digital art I create, and my amateur photography. That website is supposed to lean toward “professionalism”. This website is a more personal “anything goes” platform. I don’t allow commenting at Surf Man. Here at Crayy, I do, with moderation of course. I always have to write about the Surf Man content at Surf Man. If I want to escape for a few days and not mention the work I do over there, I can get that freedom here and have some fun posting about my personal interests. I also use this blog for maintaining lists, draft work, link sharing, and life blogging.
CRAYY.co Domain – “I Got Your Crazy” is the slogan I kicked off this project with when this was supposed to be a burner blog. When I decided to upgrade the project and get a custom domain, I kept the slogan and searched for a short letter domain name that would work, and crayy.co fit the bill that I was willing to pay for. So I bought it and made the logo. “I Got Your Crazy” is from the Britney Spears song, titled “Womanizer”. The full phrase being “You say I’m crazy, I got your crazy”. It’s a catchy tune, and that phrase was stuck in my head. “CRAYY” is a short word or acronym of sorts for “cray cray”, meaning something or someone is crazy, silly, or wild. I’m a sucker for short domain names that are easy for people to remember, so I couldn’t pass it up. Basically the domain name I acquired for this site is one I chose for it’s silliness, but also to let folks know if you mess with me, I got your crazy, and I can be. I’m kind, but I don’t take shit in any online presence I maintain including this one.
Censorship:
I am not the one who has a problem with nudity and “explicit” images, and I definitely create some digital art featuring these. I cannot however post the images on this site, which is hosted by WordPress.com, because by their rules, my site could be taken down. So the workaround is to post censored images instead.
