Book Riot’s September 17, 2026 roundup combines rankings from The New York Times, Amazon Charts, Publishers Weekly, USA Today, and Indie Bestsellers to identify the books showing the broadest sales momentum across major U.S. lists. Allen Levi’s Theo of Golden, Matt Dinniman’s Dungeon Crawler Carl, and Kathryn Stockett’s The Calamity Club appeared on all five tracked lists, while Rachel Gillig’s gothic romantasy sequel The Knave and the Moon and Caro Claire Burke’s Yesteryear landed on four. The Dome By Stephen King
What’s the longest book you’ve ever read? I started reading The Dome by Stephen King in 2013. I never finished it in 2013. It still sits somewhere in my Kindle books library waiting to be finished. I don’t know if I ever will. If I ever go back to it, I’ll probably have to start over. Bear in mind, as much as I like fictional stories, I much prefer reading non-fiction.
