FAFO Friday Without My Flash Drive
I FAFO’d myself tonight. I left my workhorse flash drive plugged in on my home office computer. Now I can’t access a lot of my notes at my other office. This also means I can’t do anything that requires saving pictures or videos tonight. So I am limited on what I can do online regarding blogging, except for that which I can write in UpNote and save to the cloud, or post directly to my website with tags to mark content for collecting later. I Would Be Me But A Richer Version
If you had to switch lives with a fictional character for a week, who would you choose? The question didn’t say you have to choose an actual fictional character. So I’m making up that suddenly I’m never going to have to worry about money, and I live in a nice apartment, always a good running vehicle, and groceries, and whatever other food, and necessities I may need delivered daily. Book Riot’s September 17, 2026 roundup combines rankings from The New York Times, Amazon Charts, Publishers Weekly, USA Today, and Indie Bestsellers to identify the books showing the broadest sales momentum across major U.S. lists. Allen Levi’s Theo of Golden, Matt Dinniman’s Dungeon Crawler Carl, and Kathryn Stockett’s The Calamity Club appeared on all five tracked lists, while Rachel Gillig’s gothic romantasy sequel The Knave and the Moon and Caro Claire Burke’s Yesteryear landed on four.
