What are some life hacks that you practice?
A year ago today, I stopped going to fast food places. I won’t say all the reasons why, but the economy and quality at some places were a big part of it. Recently about a month ago I guess, I started getting Wendy’s again occasionally, but the cost is even higher. So I’m trying to stick with not getting fast food so much, but it’s hard when you love that dang baconator and chicken nuggets, which are usually ok in quality. So to avoid fast food every time I crave it now, I deposit money in my savings account instead and just eat what is in my kitchen or my lunchbox. It’s currently $25 each time I skip the fast food and pay myself. I save money and eat what I already bought at the grocery store. If I do this too many times and run low on funds in one of my accounts, it’s no problem. I still have my money in another account. It’s not always easy, but from the few times I’ve done it up at this point, I can see money in my account that wasn’t there before, and that I can save, or put to good use in some other area of life. I may not have gotten what I really wanted to eat that day, but I still ate.
