  • I Learned Most From Me

Which relationship has taught you the most about yourself?

I used to let things slide too much. I didn’t have respect for myself, therefore allowed people, including family to disrespect me. Now, I would rather live the rest of my life alone and unbothered in peace than to be trapped in chaos.

  • Spam And Cross Stitch World

This morning at the grocery store I bought something I haven’t eaten in a long time – a can of Spam. I know, not the healthiest food product, but I could be eating worse I guess. I’m having it for breakfast. It’s kinda tasty, or maybe I’m just hungry. Last night I told myself don’t go home and get on the computer. Everything on it will be there the next night, but here I am writing a jibber jabber post about Spam lol. I am going to limit my time though. If I have one day this week to not do any chores, today will be it, and I am going to work on a new Cross Stitch World digital art this morning. I am finally getting into a routine where I can schedule at least one blog post per day, and I’m choosing my Earthcam screenshots to do that with. I am working at the rate of schedule a post, and then do some work for an hour, and then take a few minutes break if needed. I get to keep my blog active, and get other work done without slaving in WordPress too much unless I want to. Ok time to get stitching.

  • I Want To Build A New Ebook Shop

If you could start a new business right now, what would it be?

Over the years, for at least the last 10 or 12, I have given away countless PDF format ebooks. I want to transition into selling some, including my website directory, photos and digital art. It’s time to start getting paid. Gumroad here I come.

  • Listen To Your Body

What are your best healthy eating habits?

Something someone told me a long time ago about eating and staying hydrated are these 4 words – listen to your body. Those words have stuck with me ever since. That was back around 2019 I’m guessing. Eat when you are hungry, and drink fluids regularly. As far as my food habits go, I will just say I like to eat and leave it at that.

  • Pay Myself Before Fast Food

What are some life hacks that you practice?

A year ago today, I stopped going to fast food places. I won’t say all the reasons why, but the economy and quality at some places were a big part of it. Recently about a month ago I guess, I started getting Wendy’s again occasionally, but the cost is even higher. So I’m trying to stick with not getting fast food so much, but it’s hard when you love that dang baconator and chicken nuggets, which are usually ok in quality. So to avoid fast food every time I crave it now, I deposit money in my savings account instead and just eat what is in my kitchen or my lunchbox. It’s currently $25 each time I skip the fast food and pay myself. I save money and eat what I already bought at the grocery store. If I do this too many times and run low on funds in one of my accounts, it’s no problem. I still have my money in another account. It’s not always easy, but from the few times I’ve done it up at this point, I can see money in my account that wasn’t there before, and that I can save, or put to good use in some other area of life. I may not have gotten what I really wanted to eat that day, but I still ate.
